This fish dish provides omega-3 fats, which can prevent acne. The cod can also strengthen the membrane of skin cells and prevent damage by the sun. However, the fish should be prepared with no salt, such as in fresh cod. Here are some other ingredients you can add to the dish to further increase skin benefits:

Tomatoes; this juicy, red ingredient can be added as puree to give the fish more flavor. Not only can it make the fish tastier, but tomatoes act as a natural SPF and protects skin from the sun.

Garlic; you can add garlic cloves to your tomato puree or sauce to add an extra zest of flavor. Garlic has anti-fungal and anti-aging properties that can reduce breakouts and increase blood flow to the skin, for a natural glow.
