A delicious cake very simple to prepare, confectioned with flour, sugar, eggs and coffee, that goes in the oven with apple pieces.

Ingredients

  • 2 apples
  • 2 eggs
  • 150 grams / (5 1/3 ounces) all-purpose flour
  • 150 grams / (5 1/3 ounces) sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon grinded coffee

    Directions

    Step 1


    1. With an electric mixer beat the eggs along with the sugar until obtain a creamy mixture. Add the coffee and the cinnamon, without stop beating. Then, add the flour mixed with the baking powder. Wash and peel the apples. Cut them into small pieces and fold in the dough with the help of a spatula.

    Step 2


    1. Grease a rectangular cake tin (27 x 10 x 7 centimeters / (10 2/3 x 4 x 2 3/4 inches)) with margarine and sprinkle with flour. Pour the mixture inside the cake tin and bring to preheated oven at 180°C / (350ºF) about 25 to 30 minutes (the time depends on the oven).

    Step 3


    1. Remove the cake from the oven, unmold, allow to cool and serve.
