Breaded chicken pieces seasoned with orange juice, pepper and garlics, which are going to the oven drizzled with a sauce confectioned with olive oil, garlics, honey and pepper, served with fried potatoes and lettuce salad.

  • 1.5 kg / (3 1/3 pounds) chicken cut into pieces
  • Juice of one orange
  • Pepper (to taste)
  • Nutmeg (to taste)
  • Breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 4 cloves of garlic
  • Parsley (to taste)
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • For the sauce:
  • 200 ml / (3/4 cup and 1 1/2 tablespoons) olive oil
  • 4 cloves of garlic
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • Pepper (to taste)


    Step 1

    1. Season the chicken pieces with salt, orange juice, pepper, nutmeg and sliced garlics. Leave to marinate about an hour.

    Step 2

    1. Coat the chicken pieces in beaten egg and in breadcrumbs. Fry them on both sides in a skillet in hot oil. When they are fried place them in a platter over absorbent paper.

    1. For the sauce:
    2. In a bowl, mix the olive oil, the chopped garlics, pepper and the honey.

    Step 4

    1. Place the breaded chicken pieces on a glass baking dish and drizzle with the sauce. Bring to preheated oven at 180°C / (350ºF) about 20 minutes.

    Step 5

    1. Turn off the oven, sprinkle the breaded chicken with chopped parsley and serve with fried potatoes and lettuce salad.
