A very simple recipe, pork steaks seasoned with salt, lemon juice and pepper, coated in beaten egg and breadcrumbs, which go to the oven drizzled with olive oil.

Ingredients

  • 4 pork steaks (about 500 grams / (17 1/2 ounces))
  • 150 ml / (1/2 cup and 2 tablespoons) olive oil
  • Juice of one lemon
  • 1 medium onion
  • Pepper (to taste)
  • 1 egg
  • Thyme (to taste)
  • Oregano (to taste)
  • Breadcrumbs
  • Salt (to taste)

    Directions

    Step 1


    1. Season the pork steaks with lemon juice, pepper and salt. Leave to marinate about 30 minutes.

    Step 2


    1. Coat the pork steaks in beaten egg and in breadcrumbs mixed with oregano and thyme. Place the ​​onions cut into round slices in the bottom of a glass baking dish and on top, the breaded pork steaks. Drizzle with olive oil and bring to preheated oven at 180ºC / (350ºF) about 25 minutes until golden slightly.
