Ingredients

  • 1.5 kg / (3 1/3 pounds) chicken cut into pieces
  • 2 medium onions
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • Oregano (to taste)
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 orange
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 100 ml / (6 3/4 tablespoons) olive oil
  • 4 cloves of garlic
  • Salt (to taste)

    Directions

    Step 1


    1. Place the chicken in a baking pan and season with olive oil, half lemon juice, half orange juice, chopped garlics, the onions cut into quarters, bay leaf, oregano and salt. Cut the remaining orange and lemon into round slices, brush the chicken pieces with honey and sprinkle with brown sugar. Let marinate about one hour.

    Step 2


    1. Preheat the oven to 180ºC / (350ºF). Place the chicken in the oven about an hour until slightly golden. Occasionally drizzle the chicken with the sauce.

    Step 3


    1. Turn off the oven and serve the chicken with chips.
