HOW TO MAKE CHICKEN WITH ROASTED POTATOES

Put the chicken on a baking dish and season with salt, pepper, lemon juice, nutmeg, Worcestershire sauce, 6 peeled cloves of garlic, margarine cut into pieces and 100 ml (1/2 cup) olive oil.
Wash the unpeeled potatoes and give a small cut across on each one of them. Put them on a baking dish and season with salt, the remaining chopped garlic and the remaining olive oil. Place the two baking sheets in the oven and bake for about 1 hour and 15 minutes. Occasionally, drizzle the chicken with the sauce. Turn off the oven and serve.

    • 1.2 kg (2 2/3 pounds) chicken cut into pieces
    • 150 ml (2/3 cup) olive oil
    • 100 grams (1/2 cup) margarine
    • 8 cloves of garlic
    • Pepper (to taste)
    • Juice of one lemon
    • Nutmeg (to taste)
    • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
    • 1.2 kg (2 2/3 pounds) small potatoes
    • Salt (to taste)

    Directions

    1. Preheat the oven to 180ºC (350ºF).
    2. Put the chicken on a baking dish and season with salt, pepper, lemon juice, nutmeg, Worcestershire sauce, 6 peeled cloves of garlic, margarine cut into pieces and 100 ml (1/2 cup) olive oil.
    3. Wash the unpeeled potatoes and give a small cut across on each one of them. Put them on a baking dish and season with salt, the remaining chopped garlic and the remaining olive oil. Place the two baking sheets in the oven (the potatoes baking dish on the top rack and the chicken baking dish on the bottom rack) and bake for about 1 hour and 15 minutes. Occasionally, drizzle the chicken with the sauce.
