To refresh in a Spring evening, choose a chocolate and apple milkshake aromatized with a touch of cinnamon.

Units: Metric / (Units: US)

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons chocolate powder
  • 2 red apples
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 300 ml / (1 1/4 cups) cold milk
  • 250 grams / (8 3/4 ounces) natural yoghurt
  • For the whipped cream:
  • 100 ml / (6 3/4 tablespoons) heavy whipping cream
  • 1 teaspoon powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla powder

    Directions

    Step 1


    1. Wash, peel and cut the apples into pieces.

    Step 2


    1. In a blender, combine the apples cut into pieces, yoghurt, chocolate powder, sugar, cinnamon and milk until obtain a creamy mixture.

    Step 3


    1. For the whipped cream:
    2. Whip the cream together with the powdered sugar and the vanilla in a electric mixer until stiff peaks form (don’t overbeat the cream).

    Step 4


    1. Pour the milkshake in glasses and garnish with the whipped cream sprinkled with chocolate or cinnamon powder.
