A delicious pie, with excellent presentation, with a filling confectioned ​​with dark chocolate, eggs, sugar and margarine, topped with whipped cream and garnished with grated chocolate.

Ingredients

  • For the filling:
  • 200 grams / (7 ounces) dark chocolate
  • 150 grams / (5 1/3 ounces) margarine
  • 230 grams / (8 1/4 ounces) puff pastry
  • 200 grams / (7 ounces) sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • For the topping:
  • 200 ml / (3/4 cup and 1 1/2 tablespoons) heavy whipping cream
  • 1 tablespoon powdered sugar to beat the cream
  • Grated chocolate

    Directions

    Step 1


    1. For the filling:
    2. In a bowl place the chocolate broken into pieces along with the margarine. Bring to microwave to melt. Remove from the microwave and mix well with a spoon.

    Step 2


    1. With an electric mixer beat the eggs with the sugar until obtain a homogeneous mixture. Then, pour the melted chocolate and beat until the mixture is creamy.

    Step 3


    1. Line a pie pan with the puff pastry and prick the bottom with a fork. Pour the cream on top, and bring to preheated oven at 180°C / (350ºF) about 25 minutes. Remove from the oven, unmold and let cool.

    Step 4


    1. For the topping:
    2. Beat the cream with a tablespoon of powdered sugar until stiff peaks form. Spread the whipped cream on top of the pie and garnish with grated chocolate.
