Ingredients

  • For the dough:
  • 125 grams / (4 1/2 ounces) all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons margarine
  • 3 eggs
  • 300 ml / (1 1/4 cups) milk
  • Butter for greasing
  • A pinch of salt
  • For the filling:
  • 250 grams / (8 3/4 ounces) minced beef
  • 250 grams / (8 3/4 ounces) minced pork
  • 2 medium ripe tomatoes
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 50 ml / (3 1/3 tablespoons) olive oil
  • 1 medium onion
  • Pepper (to taste)
  • Parsley (to taste)
  • Nutmeg (to taste)
  • Salt (to taste)

    Directions

    Step 1


    1. For the dough:
    2. In a bowl, place the flour, salt and mix well. Melt the margarine in microwave; set aside.

    Step 2


    1. In an electric mixer, beat on medium speed the eggs and the milk. Reduce the mixer speed to low and add the flour mixture. Then, add the melted margarine and beat for 2 to 3 minutes to incorporate.

    Step 3


    1. Grease a non-stick frying pan with some butter. Bring over low heat and when the butter starts melting, pour small portions of the dough with a ladle until cover completely the bottom. When the first side starts to turn slightly golden, flip with a spatula and cook about a minute or until golden. Repeat the process until the dough runs out.

    Step 4


    1. For the filling:
    2. Put the olive oil, the peeled tomato cut into small pieces, chopped onion and the chopped garlics in a saucepan and cook over low heat until the tomato starts to break down. Add the minced meat and season with salt, nutmeg and pepper. Stir and simmer over low heat about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Turn off the heat and sprinkle with chopped parsley.

    Step 5


    1. Drain the meat and place small portions over each crepe. Lift both folded edges of the crepe and fold them over the filling, forming a cone.
