Not all the fish meals have to be prepared with the usual ingredients. This recipe of croaker in the oven is an example, combines the seasoning of the spices with the delicious aroma of the peppers. Try it, you will love it!!!

Ingredients

  • 4 croaker steaks (about 900 grams / (2 pounds))
  • 1.2 kg / (2 2/3 pounds) small potatoes
  • Nutmeg (to taste)
  • Pepper (to taste)
  • 2 medium onions
  • 100 ml / (6 3/4 tablespoons) white wine
  • 2 medium tomatoes
  • 1/2 red pepper
  • 1/2 orange pepper
  • 1/2 yellow pepper
  • 4 cloves of garlic
  • 100 ml / (6 3/4 tablespoons) olive oil
  • Salt (to taste)

    Directions

    Step 1


    1. Preheat the oven to 180ºC / (350ºF).

    Step 2


    1. Peel and wash the potatoes. Put the fish and the potatoes on a baking pan and season with salt, nutmeg, pepper, peeled garlics, onion cut into quarters, the peppers cut into strips and the unpeeled tomatoes cut into quarters. Drizzle with white wine and olive oil and bake for about 1 hour. Occasionally drizzle the potatoes and the fish with the sauce.

    Step 3


    1. Turn off the oven and serve.
