Delicious biscuits confectioned ​​with flour, margarine, eggs and sugar, stuffed with pear jam, soaked in a chocolate sauce.

Ingredients

  • For the dough:
  • 300 grams / (10 1/2 ounces) all-purpose flour
  • 200 grams / (7 ounces) sugar
  • 150 grams / (5 1/3 ounces) margarine
  • 4 whole eggs
  • For the filling:
  • 150 grams / (5 1/3 ounces) ripe pear
  • 85 grams / (3 ounces) sugar
  • 1 lemon peel
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • For the chocolate:
  • 50 grams / (1 3/4 ounces) dark chocolate
  • 125 ml / (1/2 cup) milk
  • 1 teaspoon margarine
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon corn starch

    Directions

    Step 1


    1. For the dough:
    2. With an electric mixer beat well the eggs with the margarine and the sugar. Add the flour and mix well.

    Step 2


    1. Grease with margarine muffin pans and sprinkle with flour.

    Step 3


    1. Pour small portions of cream on each one of them (fill the muffin pans half full) and bring to preheated oven at 180ºC / (350ºF) about 15 to 20 minutes until browned slightly.

    Step 4


    1. Turn off the oven, unmold, let cool and set aside.

    Step 5


    1. For the filling:
    2. Wash, peel the pears and cut them into small pieces.

    Step 6


    1. Place the pieces in a pan with the sugar, lemon peel and the cinnamon stick.

    Step 7


    1. Heat the pan on a low heat and stir with a spoon until obtain a creamy mixture (this is a slow process).

    Step 8


    1. Turn off the heat, remove the cinnamon stick and the lemon peel and set aside.

    Step 9


    1. For the chocolate:
    2. Dissolve with a spoon the corn starch in a little milk.

    Step 10


    1. In a pan, place the milk with the lemon peel, the chocolate broken into pieces, the dissolved corn starch, margarine and the sugar. Place the pan over medium-low heat and stir with a spoon until the chocolate is completely melted. Turn off the heat and let cool slightly.

    Step 11


    1. Sandwich two biscuits together with the pear sweet, and soak half of each one of them in the chocolate. let stand the biscuits for two hours.
