Ingredients

  • 1.5 kg / (3 1/3 pounds) chicken cut into pieces
  • 2 medium onions
  • 5 cloves of garlic
  • 1/2 green pepper
  • 3 medium ripe tomatoes
  • 100 ml / (6 3/4 tablespoons) olive oil
  • Pepper (to taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt (to taste)

    Directions

    Step 1


    1. Place the olive oil and the unpeeled crushed garlics in a saucepan and saute over low heat about three to four minutes, stirring occasionally. Add the chicken pieces and fry them on both sides about 15 minutes until slightly golden.

    Step 2


    1. Add the onions cut into round slices, the green pepper cut into strips, the peeled tomatoes cut into small pieces and season with salt, pepper and paprika. Stir, cover the pan and cook over low heat about 25 minutes, stirring occasionally.

    Step 3


    1. Turn off the heat and serve the chicken with mashed potato.
