Prepare this simple and tasty recipe of cod stewed with peppers and olive oil. Try it, gonna love it…

Ingredients

  • 4 desalted cod steaks (about 1 kg / (2 1/4 pounds))
  • Pepper (to taste)
  • 1/2 yellow pepper
  • 1/2 green pepper
  • 1/2 red pepper
  • 100 ml / (6 3/4 tablespoons) olive oil
  • 3 bay leaves
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 5 cloves of garlic
  • 2 medium onions
  • Salt (to taste)

    Directions

    Step 1


    1. In a saucepan, put the olive oil, the onions cut into round slices, the bay leaf, the peppers cut into strips, the unpeeled crushed garlics and the cod cut into pieces. Season with some salt, pepper and paprika. Cover the pan and cook on a low heat for 25 to 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.

    Step 2


    1. Turn off the heat and serve the cod with boiled potato.
