Ingredients

  • 250 grams (8 3/4 ounces) tagliatelle
  • 150 grams (5 1/3 ounces) minced pork
  • 150 grams (5 1/3 ounces) minced beef
  • 200 grams (7 ounces) pineapple
  • 1 large onion
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 50 ml (1/4 cup) olive oil
  • Rosemary (to taste)
  • Nutmeg (to taste)
  • 1 small onion to cook the pasta
  • Salt (to taste)
  • For the béchamel sauce:
  • 200 ml (about 1 cup) milk
  • 2 tablespoons corn starch flour
  • 1/2 tablespoon butter
  • Pepper (to taste)
  • Nutmeg (to taste)
  • Salt (to taste)

    Directions

    Step 1


    1. For the béchamel sauce:
    2. Place the butter in a saucepan and heat over low heat. When the butter start to melt, add the flour with a little milk and whisk until the flour is dissolved. Gradually add the rest of the milk, increase to medium heat and stir until a homogeneous and creamy mixture, about 10 minutes.

    1. Turn off the heat and season with a little salt, pepper and nutmeg. Mix the seasonings in the sauce and let cool. Béchamel sauce recipe.

    Step 3


    1. Cook the pasta in a saucepan with water seasoned with salt and a small peeled onion. When the pasta is cooked, drain it and set aside.

    Step 4


    1. Place the olive oil and the chopped onion in a saucepan and saute over low heat until the onion start to turn golden brown, stirring occasionally. Add the minced meat and the pineapple cut into pieces and season with a little salt, nutmeg, chopped rosemary and Worcestershire sauce. Stir, cover the pan with a lid and cook over low heat for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.

    Step 5


    1. Turn off the heat and drain the meat. Add the tagliatelle to the meat pan and mix everything.

    1. Preheat the oven to 180ºC (350ºF).
