STEP 1 Using a stand mixer fitted with whisk attachment, beat the sugar, butter and the eggs until obtain a homogeneous and creamy mixture. Pour the coffee and beat until it's nicely incorporated.

STEP 2 Add the flour and the baking powder and beat until obtain a quite creamy mixture.

STEP 3 Add the chopped walnuts and fold with a spatula.

STEP 4 Pour the batter into the prepared pan and garnish with about 25 grams of chopped walnuts. Bake at 180ºC (350ºF) about 30 to 35 minutes.

STEP 5 Remove the cake from the oven and allow to cool for 30 minutes.
