HOW TO MAKE PEIXINHOS DA HORTA (FRIED GREEN BEANS)

Step 1: Wash, cut the ends and remove the green bean strings.

Step 2: In a saucepan, add the water, green beans, salt and the peeled onion. Bring to a boil over high heat.

Step 3: Once it starts to boil, reduce to low heat and cook the green beans for about 10 to 15 minutes. Turn off the heat, drain the green beans and set aside.

Step 4: In a medium bowl, add the flour, eggs, pepper, chopped parsley and a little salt. Mix with a fork until obtain a creamy mixture.

Step 5: Dip the green beans in the eggs mixture.
