  • 600 grams (1 1/3 pounds) hake loins
  • Pepper (to taste)
  • 1 egg
  • 4 cloves of garlic
  • Juice of one lemon
  • Breadcrumbs
  • Olive oil for frying
  • Salt (to taste)


  1. Season the fish with a little salt, lemon juice and sliced garlic. Leave to marinate about two hours.
  2. Coat the loins in beaten egg and then in breadcrumbs. Heat a skillet with olive oil and when is hot add the loins and fry them on both sides. When they are fried place them on a dish over absorbent paper.
  3. Serve the fish with rice and salad.
