HOW TO MAKE BAKED COD WITH POTATOES, OLIVE OIL AND LEMON:
Wash the unpeeled potatoes and give a small cut across each one of them. Cut the cod into pieces.
Put the potatoes and the cod on a baking dish and season with lemon juice, unpeeled crushed garlic, salt, pepper and paprika. Drizzle with olive oil

Ingredients
- Desalted cod steaks (about 1 kg (2 1/4 pounds))
- 6 cloves of garlic
- 1 kg (2 1/4 pounds) small potatoes
- 100 ml (1/2 cup) lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 200 ml (about 1 cup) olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 180ºC (350ºF).
- Wash the unpeeled potatoes and give a small cut across each one of them. Cut the cod into pieces.
- Put the potatoes and the cod on a baking dish and season with lemon juice, unpeeled crushed garlic, salt, pepper and paprika. Drizzle with olive oil and bake until golden, about 1 hour and 20 minutes. Occasionally, drizzle the cod and the potatoes with the sauce.
- Turn off the oven and serve.
