Breaded chicken pieces seasoned with orange juice, pepper and garlic, which are going to the oven drizzled with a sauce confectioned with olive oil, garlic, honey and pepper, served with fried potatoes and lettuce salad.

  • 1.5 kg (3 1/3 pounds) chicken cut into pieces
  • Juice of one orange
  • Pepper (to taste)
  • Nutmeg (to taste)
  • Breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 4 cloves of garlic
  • Parsley (to taste)
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • For the sauce:

  • 200 ml (about 1 cup) olive oil
  • 4 cloves of garlic
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • Pepper (to taste)


  1. Season the chicken pieces with salt, orange juice, pepper, nutmeg and sliced garlic. Leave to marinate about an hour.
  2. Coat the chicken pieces in beaten egg and in breadcrumbs. Fry them on both sides in a skillet in hot oil. When they are fried place them in a platter over absorbent paper.
  3. For the sauce:
    In a bowl, mix the olive oil, the chopped garlic, pepper and the honey.
  4. Place the breaded chicken pieces on a glass baking dish and drizzle with the sauce. Bring to preheated oven at 180°C (350ºF) about 20 minutes.
  5. Turn off the oven, sprinkle the breaded chicken with chopped parsley and serve with fried potatoes and lettuce salad.
