BAKED SEA BREAM WITH POTATOES:

On a baking dish, place the fish, peeled potatoes and the onion cut in quarters. Season with peeled garlic, white wine, salt, pepper, rosemary and olive oil. Ingredients

  • 600 grams (1 1/3 pounds) sea bream
  • 100 ml (1/2 cup) olive oil
  • 100 ml (1/2 cup) white wine
  • 5 cloves of garlic
  • Pepper (to taste)
  • 1 medium onion
  • 500 grams (17 1/2 ounces) small potatoes
  • Rosemary (to taste)
  • Salt (to taste)

    1.2 kg (2 2/3 pounds) sea bream, 125 ml (1/2 cup) olive oil, 125 ml (1/2 cup) white wine, 8 cloves of garlic, pepper (to taste), 1 large onion, 1 kg (2 1/4 pounds) small potatoes, rosemary (to taste), salt (to taste)

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180ºC (350ºF).
  2. With a sharp knife give 2 to 3 cuts across the fish.
  3. On a baking dish, place the fish, peeled potatoes and the onion cut in quarters. Season with peeled garlic, white wine, salt, pepper, rosemary and olive oil. Bake until the fish start to turn slightly golden, about 1 hour and 15 minutes. Occasionally, drizzle the fish and the potatoes with the sauce.
  4. Turn off the oven and serve.
