Ingredients: cinnamon, eggs, flour, lemon, sugar

Ingredients

  • 200 grams (about 1 cup) granulated sugar
  • 225 grams (1 2/3 cups) all-purpose flour
  • 150 ml (2/3 cup) lemon juice
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons margarine
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • Sugar and cinnamon powder for dusting
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Directions

  1. In an electric mixer, beat on medium speed the eggs, margarine and the sugar until obtain a homogenous and creamy mixture. Add the lemon juice and the flour mixed with the baking powder and beat until a creamy mixture.
  2. Heat the oil in a skillet. Remove small portions of the dough with the help of a spoon and, fry them in hot oil. When they are fried, place them on a platter over absorbent paper.
  3. Coat them in sugar and cinnamon powder and serve.
