HOW TO MAKE PEA PUREE SOUP
Step 1: Peel and wash the potato, onions, carrots, turnip and the leek.
Step 2: In a large saucepan with 2 liters (about 8 cups) water put the onions, leek, turnip, carrots and the potato, everything cut into pieces together with the peas. Boil over high heat.
Step 3: When starts boiling, reduce to medium-low heat and cook about 25 minutes. Then, remove briefly the saucepan from heat and use a hand blender to blend the soup until creamy. Season with olive oil and a little salt, stir and place the saucepan back on the stove over high heat.
Step 4: When starts boiling, turn off the heat, garnish with some peas and serve.

- 2 liters (about 8 cups) water
- 300 grams (2 cups) peas
- 1 turnip
- 1 leek
- 2 carrots
- 3 medium onions
- 1 medium potato
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt (to taste)
- Peel and wash the potato, onions, carrots, turnip and the leek.
- In a large saucepan with 2 liters (about 8 cups) water put the onions, leek, turnip, carrots and the potato, everything cut into pieces together with the peas (reserve some peas for garnish). Boil over high heat.
- When starts boiling, reduce to medium-low heat and cook about 25 minutes. Then, remove briefly the saucepan from heat and use a hand blender to blend the soup until creamy. Season with olive oil and a little salt, stir and place the saucepan back on the stove over high heat.
- When starts boiling, turn off the heat, garnish with some peas and serve.
