HOW TO MAKE BAKED LING FISH
Step 1: Peel, wash the potatoes and cut into round slices.
Step 2: On a baking dish, place the onion cut into round slices, fish, potatoes, cherry tomato and the peeled garlic. Season with white wine, salt, pepper, paprika and olive oil. Marinate about 1 hour.
Step 3: Preheat the oven to 180ºC (350ºF).
Step 4: Bake until golden, about 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Step 5: Turn off the oven and serve.
TIPS FOR BAKED LING FISH
1. If the fish and the potatoes start to brown too much cover with aluminum foil.
2. We usually bake the fish at 180ºC (350ºF) but, if you lower the temperature to 150ºC (300ºF), despite taking longer to bake, it has the advantage of enhancing much more the flavors.
3. If you have leftovers, store the fish and the potatoes in the fridge in a properly covered container (to prevent the growth of microorganisms). To avoid drying out, do not reheat the food in the oven, reheat it in the microwave.

- 3 ling fish steaks (about 700 grams (1 1/2 pounds))
- 100 ml (1/2 cup) white wine
- 150 ml (2/3 cup) olive oil
- Pepper (to taste)
- 750 grams (1 2/3 pounds) small potatoes
- 150 grams (5 1/3 ounces) cherry tomato
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 4 cloves of garlic
- 1 medium onion
- Salt (to taste)
