Give a refined taste to your traditional pork ribs recipe! Try this baked pork ribs with apple and you will see that the sweet of the apple merges together with the pork ribs in a delicious recipe! Bon appetit!!!
Ingredients
- 1.2 kg (2 2/3 pounds) pork ribs
- 2 apples
- Pepper (to taste)
- Nutmeg (to taste)
- 200 ml (1 cup) olive oil
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 6 cloves of garlic
- Rosemary (to taste)
- Salt (to taste)
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 180ºC (350ºF).
- Wash the apples, remove the seeds and cut them into slices.
- Place the pork ribs on a baking dish together with the apple slices, salt, pepper, nutmeg, garlic, rosemary, honey and olive oil. Bake until the ribs start to brown, about 1 hour and 45 minutes. Occasionally, drizzle the pork ribs with the sauce. If the ribs start to brown too much, cover the baking dish with aluminum foil.
- Turn off the oven and serve the pork ribs with fries or white rice.
These are really good, just made them for the second time. This time I used just a bit of olive oil to cover each rib, no more than 1/4 cup total. I added some chicken broth and they came out really nice and tender. I also added a garlic powder seasoning mix and a bit of cinnamon.
Next time I’m going to try to make up a marinade to add a big more flavor into the meat.
