HOW TO MAKE CONGER WITH PEPPERS:
Pour the olive oil, the onion in half moon slices, the peeled garlic and the peppers cut into strips in a skillet and saute over medium-low heat about 5 minutes. Add the conger and season with a little salt, saffron, lemon juice, oregano, pepper and paprika. Drizzle with white wine, cover the skillet and cook over low heat about 20 minutes. Turn off the heat and serve the conger with rice or chips.

- 2 conger steaks (about 500 grams (17 1/2 ounces))
- 50 ml (1/4 cup) olive oil
- 1/2 green pepper
- 1/2 red pepper
- 1/2 orange pepper
- Juice of one lemon
- 50 ml (1/4 cup) white wine
- Pepper (to taste)
- Saffron (to taste)
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- Oregano (to taste)
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 1 medium onion
- Salt (to taste)
