HOW TO MAKE HOMEMADE CINNAMON AND MILK CAKE:

Ingredients

  • 150 grams (about 1 cup) dark brown sugar
  • 200 grams (1 1/2 cups) all-purpose flour
  • 100 ml (1/2 cup) milk
  • 1 tablespoon liquid caramel
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180ºC (350ºF). Grease a loaf tin (25 x 11 centimeters with 7 centimeters high (9 3/4 x 4 1/3-inch with 2 3/4-inch-high)) with margarine and dust with some flour.
  2. On a bowl, mix the flour, cinnamon and baking powder. Add the brown sugar, eggs, liquid caramel, milk and whisk until obtain a homogeneous and creamy mixture.
  3. Pour the mixture into the prepared tin and bake until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean, about 30 to 35 minutes (the time depends on the oven).
  4. Remove the cake from the oven and unmold. Let cool completely and serve.
