HOW TO MAKE BUTTER MILK CAKE:
Beat the sugar, eggs and the butter until obtain a creamy mixture. Pour the milk and mix for 1 to 2 minutes until it’s nicely incorporated. Add the flour and the baking powder and beat until a quite creamy mixture. Pour the mixture into the prepared tin and bake about 35 minutes. Remove the cake from the oven, unmold, allow to cool to room temperature and serve.

Ingredients
- 100 grams (1/2 cup) butter to room temperature
- 150 grams (2/3 cup) granulated sugar
- 3 eggs
- 200 grams (1 1/2 cups) all-purpose flour
- 100 ml (1/2 cup) milk
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 180ºC (350ºF). Grease a loaf tin (24 x 10 centimeters with 7 centimeters high (9 1/2 x 4-inch with 2 3/4-inch-high)) with margarine and line with parchment paper.
- In an electric mixer, beat on medium speed the sugar, eggs and the butter until obtain a creamy mixture. Pour the milk and mix for 1 to 2 minutes until it’s nicely incorporated. Reduce the mixer speed to low, add the flour and the baking powder and beat until a quite creamy mixture.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared tin and bake until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean, about 35 minutes (the time depends on the oven).
- Remove the cake from the oven, unmold, allow to cool to room temperature and serve.
