HOW TO MAKE THIS PORTUGUESE MIGAS RECIPE
Step 1: Boil the water in a saucepan.
Step 2: In a large saucepan, add the olive oil, peeled crushed garlic and chouriço cut in small pieces. Stir with a wooden spoon and sauté over low heat for about 3 to 4 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Step 3: Add the bread cut into pieces and season with salt, chopped coriander and pepper. Mix the spices into the bread. Gradually add the water and stir until the bread begins to break down and the water is absorbed (note: the mixture should not be too liquid or too solid).

- 600 grams (1 1/3 pounds) stale bread
- 6 cloves of garlic
- 100 ml (1/2 cup) olive oil
- 1 liter (about 4 cups) water
- 100 grams (3 1/2 ounces) Portuguese chouriço
- Pepper (to taste)
- Coriander (to taste)
- Salt (to taste)
