HOW TO MAKE BAKED CHICKEN LEGS WITH LEMON AND HONEY
Step 1: Preheat the oven to 180ºC (350ºF).
Step 2: Place the chicken legs on a baking dish and season with lemon juice, salt, nutmeg, lemon zest, chopped garlic, chopped rosemary, onion cut into quarters, honey and olive oil.
Step 3: Bake the chicken legs for about 1 hour. Occasionally, drizzle the chicken with the sauce.
Step 4: Turn off the oven and serve with fries or white rice.
TIPS FOR BAKED CHICKEN LEGS WITH LEMON AND HONEY
1. If the chicken starts to brown too much cover with aluminum foil.
2. We usually bake the chicken at 180ºC (350ºF) but, if you lower the temperature to 150ºC (300ºF), despite taking longer to bake, it has the advantage of enhancing much more the flavors and the chicken gets more tender.
3. If you have leftovers, store the chicken in the fridge in a properly covered container (to prevent the growth of microorganisms). To avoid drying out the chicken, do not reheat the food in the oven, reheat it in the microwave.

- 100 ml (1/2 cup) olive oil
- Rosemary (to taste)
- Zest of two lemons
