HOW TO MAKE SPICY ROASTED CHICKEN LEGS
Step 1: In a bowl, combine the nutmeg, pepper, paprika, salt, grated garlic, chopped rosemary, lemon juice and olive oil.
Step 2: Place the chicken legs on a baking sheet. Drizzle the chicken legs with the sauce and marinate about 1 to 2 hours.
Step 3: Preheat the oven to 180ºC (350ºF).
Step 4: Roast the chicken legs until golden, about 50 minutes. Occasionally, drizzle the chicken legs with the sauce.
Step 5: Serve with fries or white rice.
TIPS FOR SPICY ROASTED CHICKEN LEGS
1. If the chicken legs starts to brown too much cover with aluminum foil.
2. We usually roast the chicken at 180ºC (350ºF) but, if you lower the temperature to 150ºC (300ºF), despite taking longer to roast, it has the advantage of enhancing much more the flavors and the chicken gets more tender.
3. If you have leftovers, store the chicken legs in the fridge in a properly covered container (to prevent the growth of microorganisms). To avoid drying out the chicken, do not reheat the food in the oven, reheat it in the microwave.
