HOW TO MAKE ROASTED CHICKEN LEGS WITH MUSTARD
Step 1: In a bowl, combine the mustard, grated garlic, salt, nutmeg, oregano, lemon juice and the olive oil. Place the chicken legs on a baking dish and drizzle with the previous mixture. Let marinate about one hour.
Step 2: Preheat the oven to 180ºC (350ºF).
Step 3: Bake until golden, about 1 hour. Occasionally, drizzle the chicken with the sauce.
Step 4: Turn off the oven and serve with fries or mashed potato
TIPS FOR ROASTED CHICKEN LEGS WITH MUSTARD
1. If the chicken legs starts to brown too much cover with aluminum foil.
2. We usually roast the chicken legs at 180ºC (350ºF) but, if you lower the temperature to 150ºC (300ºF), despite taking longer to roast, it has the advantage of enhancing much more the flavors and the chicken gets more tender.
3. If you have leftovers, store the chicken in the fridge in a properly covered container (to prevent the growth of microorganisms). To avoid drying, do not reheat the food in the oven, reheat it in the microwave.

- 1 tablespoon oregano
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 4 tablespoons mustard
- 100 ml (1/2 cup) olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
