HOW TO MAKE BAKED CHICKEN WITH LEMON, HONEY AND ROSEMARY:

In a bowl, mix with a fork the grated garlic, chopped rosemary, lemon zest, honey, nutmeg and lemon juice. Place at the bottom of a baking dish the lemon slices, rosemary and the olive oil. Add the chicken and season with salt. Pour the previous mixture over the chicken and marinate for one hour. Chicken on a baking dish Bake until golden, about 1 hour. Occasionally, drizzle the chicken with the sauce. Turn off the oven and serve the chicken with fries.

Ingredients

  • 1.2 kg (2 2/3 pounds) chicken cut into pieces
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 5 cloves of garlic
  • 1 teaspoon chopped rosemary
  • Rosemary (to taste)
  • Zest of one lemon
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 100 ml (1/2 cup) lemon juice
  • 1 lemon cut into slices
  • 100 ml (1/2 cup) olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Directions

  1. In a bowl, mix with a fork the grated garlic, chopped rosemary, lemon zest, honey, nutmeg and lemon juice.

  3. Preheat the oven to 180ºC (350ºF).
  4. Bake until golden, about 1 hour. Occasionally, drizzle the chicken with the sauce.
