  • 1.5 kg (3 1/3 pounds) chicken cut into pieces
  • 1 medium onion
  • 8 cloves of garlic
  • Juice of one lemon
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg
  • Rosemary (to taste)
  • 125 grams (4 1/2 ounces) Portuguese chouriço
  • 100 ml (1/2 cup) olive oil
  • Salt (to taste)

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180ºC (350ºF).
  2. On a baking dish, add the chicken, sliced onion, unpeeled crushed garlic, lemon juice, salt, pepper, nutmeg, chopped rosemary, sliced chouriço and the olive oil.
