HOW TO MAKE ROASTED CHICKEN WITH LEMON AND HONEY:

In a bowl, mix with a fork the olive oil, salt, nutmeg, paprika, chopped garlic, honey and lemon juice. Place the chicken on a baking dish and drizzle with the previous mixture.Chicken on a baking dish seasoned with salt, honey, nutmeg, lemon juice, chopped garlic, paprika and olive oil Marinate for about 2 hours.
Roast the chicken for about 1 hour and 10 minutes. Occasionally, drizzle the chicken with the sauce. Turn off the oven and serve the chicken with mashed potato or fries.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 kg (3 1/3 pounds) chicken
  • 100 ml (1/2 cup) olive oil
  • 100 ml (1/2 cup) lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 6 cloves of garlic
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • Salt (to taste)

Directions

  1. In a bowl, mix with a fork the olive oil, salt, nutmeg, paprika, chopped garlic, honey and lemon juice.
  2. Place the chicken on a baking dish and drizzle with the previous mixture. Marinate for about 2 hours.
  3. Preheat the oven to 180ºC (350ºF).
  4. Roast the chicken for about 1 hour and 10 minutes. Occasionally, drizzle the chicken with the sauce.
  5. Turn off the oven and serve the chicken with mashed potato or fries.
