Ingredients: apple, cinnamon, orange juice, Port wine, sugar

Ingredients

  • 6 red apples
  • 3 tablespoons yellow sugar
  • 100 ml (1/2 cup) orange juice
  • 25 ml (1 3/4 tablespoons) Port wine
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon powder

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180ºC (350ºF).
  2. Wash the apples and remove the core with an apple corer.
  3. Place the apples on a baking dish and season with cinnamon powder, orange juice, Port wine and yellow sugar. Bake about 50 minutes to 1 hour. Occasionally, drizzle the apples with the sauce.
  4. Turn off the oven, let cool slightly and serve.
