HOW TO MAKE APPLE JAM

Step 1: Wash, peel, remove the seeds and cut the apple into small pieces.

Step 2: In a saucepan, add the apple pieces, sugar, cinnamon stick and the water.

Step 3: Stir and boil over medium-high heat. When starts boiling, reduce to low heat and simmer for about 30 minutes until thickens (pass a wooden spoon in the bottom of the saucepan and if it leaves a trail like a road, the jam is ready), stirring occasionally.

Step 4: Turn off the heat, remove the cinnamon stick and let cool to room temperature.

Step 5: Store the jam in the refrigerator in a glass jar tightly closed.

To check if the jam is ready, pass a wooden spoon in the bottom of the saucepan and if it leaves a trail like a road you can turn off the heat.

    • 200 ml (about 1 cup) water
