  • 200 ml (1/2 pint (236 ml)) whipping cream
  • 50 ml (1/4 cup) olive oil
  • 500 grams (17 1/2 ounces) canned tuna
  • Parsley (to taste)
  • 1 medium onion
  • Grated cheese (to taste)
  • 6 lasagna sheets (about 100 grams (3 1/2 ounces))
  • Pepper (to taste)
  • Salt (to taste)
  • For the béchamel sauce:

  • 500 ml (about 2 cups) milk
  • 5 tablespoons corn starch flour
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • Pepper (to taste)
  • Nutmeg (to taste)
  • Salt (to taste)


  1. For the béchamel sauce:
    Place the butter in a saucepan and heat over low heat. When the butter start to melt, add the flour with a little milk and whisk until the flour is dissolved. Gradually add the rest of the milk, increase to medium heat and stir until a homogeneous and creamy mixture, about 10 minutes.
  2. Turn off the heat and season with a little salt, pepper and nutmeg. Mix the seasonings in the sauce and let cool. Béchamel sauce recipe.
  3. Drain the tuna and shred it with a fork. Put the olive oil and the chopped onion in a frying pan and saute over low heat until the onion start to turn slightly golden. Add the shredded tuna, season with a little pepper and cook for about 4 to 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Turn off the heat and sprinkle with chopped parsley.Tuna mixture on a frying pan
  4. In a bowl, mix the béchamel and the whipping cream; set aside.
  5. Preheat the oven to 180ºC (350ºF).
  6. Put on the bottom of a baking pan two lasagna sheets and, on top, a layer of tuna. And so onTuna mixture with lasagna sheets on a baking dish until finish with two lasagna sheets.
