Ingredients

    For the pastry:

  • 200 grams (1 1/2 cups) all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 100 grams (1/2 cup) cold margarine
  • 50 ml (1/4 cup) cold water
  • For the filling:

  • 3 large apples
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon liquid caramel
  • Juice of half a lemon

Directions

  1. For the pastry:

  3. Remove the pastry from the fridge and place it on a table over tracing paper.   4. Preheat the oven to 180ºC (350ºF).
  5. For the filling:
    Wash, peel and cut the apples into thin slices. Place them in a large bowl and drizzle with lemon juice to not oxidize. Pour the liquid caramel and sprinkle with the brown sugar.
