HOW TO MAKE TUNA AND PINEAPPLE PIZZA

In a bowl, put the flour, water and salt. Knead everything with your hands.

    Ingredients

      For the dough:

    • 300 grams (about 2 cups) self-rising flour
    • 175 ml (3/4 cup) water
    • 1 teaspoon salt
    • For the topping:

    • 125 grams (4 1/2 ounces) canned tuna
    • Oregano (to taste)
    • 3 pineapple slices (about 150 grams (5 1/3 ounces))
    • 150 grams (5 1/3 ounces) grated mozzarella cheese
    • 2 tablespoons tomato pulp

    Directions

    1. In a bowl, put the flour, water and salt. Knead everything with your hands.
    2. Place the dough over a table sprinkled with flour and knead it well until it’s fully involved. With a rolling pin mold the dough in the shape of pizza.
    3. Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 200ºC (400ºF). Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
    4. Drain the tuna and shred it with a fork; set aside.
    5. Place the dough over the baking tray lined with parchment paper, spread the tomato pulp over the dough and sprinkle with a portion of grated cheese (about 100 grams (3 1/2 ounces) of the cheese). Add the tuna, oregano and the pineapple cut into pieces. Sprinkle with the remaining grated cheese and bake for about 15 to 20 minutes.
    6. Turn off the oven and serve.
