HOW TO MAKE PORTUGUESE SAUSAGE PIZZA
In a bowl, put the flour, water and salt. Knead everything with your hands. Put the dough over a table sprinkled with flour and knead it well until it’s fully involved. With a rolling pin mold the dough in the shape of pizza.
Place the dough over the baking tray lined with parchment paper, spread the tomato pulp over the dough and sprinkle with oregano and a portion of grated cheese. Garnish with Portuguese sausage slices and sprinkle with the remaining grated cheese. Bake for about 20 minutes. Turn off the oven and serve.

- 300 grams (about 2 cups) self-rising flour
- 175 ml (3/4 cup) water
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 100 grams (3 1/2 ounces) sliced Portuguese sausage
- Oregano (to taste)
- 200 grams (7 ounces) grated mozzarella cheese
- 2 tablespoons tomato pulp
- In a bowl, put the flour, water and salt. Knead everything with your hands.
- Put the dough over a table sprinkled with flour and knead it well until it’s fully involved. With a rolling pin mold the dough in the shape of pizza.
- Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 200ºC (400ºF). Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
- Place the dough over the baking tray lined with parchment paper, spread the tomato pulp over the dough and sprinkle with oregano and a portion of grated cheese (about 100 grams (3 1/2 ounces) of the cheese). Garnish with Portuguese sausage slices and sprinkle with the remaining grated cheese. Bake for about 20 minutes.
