Ingredients

    For the dough:

  • 300 grams (about 2 cups) self-rising flour
  • 175 ml (3/4 cup) water
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • For the topping:

  • 100 grams (3 1/2 ounces) sliced Portuguese sausage
  • Oregano (to taste)
  • 200 grams (7 ounces) grated mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons tomato pulp

Directions

  1. In a bowl, put the flour, water and salt. Knead everything with your hands.
  2. Put the dough over a table sprinkled with flour and knead it well until it’s fully involved. With a rolling pin mold the dough in the shape of pizza.
  3. Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 200ºC (400ºF). Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  4. Place the dough over the baking tray lined with parchment paper, spread the tomato pulp over the dough and sprinkle with oregano and a portion of grated cheese (about 100 grams (3 1/2 ounces) of the cheese). Garnish with Portuguese sausage slices and sprinkle with the remaining grated cheese. Bake for about 20 minutes.
  5. Turn off the oven and serve.
