  • Tomato pulp - Pizza sauce. Adds color and extra flavor to the recipe (you can make your own fresh tomato sauce).
  • Oregano - Add a little more flavor to the sauce.

HOW TO MAKE EASY HAM AND CHEESE PIZZA

Step 1: In a large bowl, mix the flour, water and salt with a wooden spoon. Pizza dough on a large glass bowl

    • 300 grams (about 2 cups) self-rising flour
    • 200 ml (about 1 cup) water
    • 1 teaspoon salt
      • For the topping:
    • 100 grams (3 1/2 ounces) sliced ham
    • 125 grams (4 1/2 ounces) fresh mozzarella cheese
    • 50 grams (1 3/4 ounces) grated parmesan cheese
    • 5 tablespoons tomato pulp (or tomato sauce)
    • 1 tablespoon oregano

    Directions

    1. In a large bowl, mix the flour, water and salt with a wooden spoon (or in a large mixing bowl with a dough hook attached).
    2. Place the dough on a lightly floured surface. Sprinkle the dough with a little more flour and knead it well until it’s fully involved. With a rolling pin mold the dough in the shape of pizza.
    3. Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 200ºC (400ºF). Line a baking tray with parchment paper (you can place the pizza dough in a non-stick pizza pan).
    4. Place the dough over the baking tray lined with parchment paper. Spread the tomato pulp over the dough and sprinkle with oregano and half of the grated parmesan cheese (you can season with a drizzle of olive oil).
