HOW TO PREPARE SPAGHETTI BOLOGNESE:

Put the olive oil, chopped onion, butter and the chopped garlic in a frying pan and saute over low heat until the onion start to turn slightly golden brown. Add the meat and season with salt, pepper, oregano, bay leaf and chopped rosemary. Stir and cook over medium-low heat for about 7 to 8 minutes. Add the tomato paste, stir and pour the chicken broth. Stir, cover the frying pan with a lid and simmer about 20 to 25 minutes.
Meanwhile, cook the spaghetti in a saucepan with water seasoned with salt and margarine. When the pasta is cooked, drain it well and set aside.
Add the spaghetti to the meat skillet and mix well. Put the mixture on a plate, sprinkle with grated cheese and a little more chopped rosemary and serve immediately.

  • 200 grams (7 ounces) minced beef
  • 200 grams (7 ounces) minced pork
  • 250 grams (8 3/4 ounces) spaghetti
  • 1 medium onion
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 50 ml (1/4 cup) olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 4 tablespoons tomato paste
  • Oregano (to taste)
  • Rosemary (to taste)
  • 250 ml (about 1 cup) chicken broth
  • Pepper (to taste)
  • Grated cheese (to taste)
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 tablespoon margarine
  • Salt (to taste)
