HOW TO MAKE MARGHERITA PIZZA

Step 1: Whisk the flour and salt together in the bowl of your stand mixer fitted with a dough hook attachment. Pour the water and beat on low speed until the dough comes together in a ball, about 5 minutes. Margherita pizza step 1 and 2

Step 2: Place the dough on a floured surface. Sprinkle the dough with a little more flour. Using a rolling pin, shape the dough into a flat round circle.

Step 3: Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 200ºC (400ºF). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 4: Place the dough onto a metal pizza peel coated with flour.

RECIPE TIPS

For a quick and easy recipe we use tomato pulp, but you can make your own fresh tomato sauce. It takes a little longer to make, but the result is even tastier.

For this pizza, you can use self-rising flour, all-purpose flour or bread flour.

If you don't have a stand mixer, you can knead the pizza dough by hand in a large bowl.
