Melt the butter in the microwave. Make the chocolate shavings with a knife; set aside.
In a bowl, mix the brown sugar, salt and butter. Then, add and mix the egg and the vanilla extract. Using a spatula, mix the flour. Finally, fold the chocolate shavings. Cover the bowl with cling film and refrigerate for about 20 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 200 grams (1 1/2 cups) all-purpose flour
  • 100 grams (3 1/2 ounces) dark chocolate
  • 150 grams (about 1 cup) dark brown sugar
  • 100 grams (1/2 cup) butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Directions
