HOW TO MAKE FRIED STEAKS
Step 1: Season the steaks with white wine, salt, pepper, nutmeg, sliced garlic and bay leaf cut into pieces. Let marinate about 30 minutes.
Step 2: Heat over low heat a frying pan with the olive oil and the margarine. When the margarine start to melt, add the steaks with the marinade and fry them on both sides over medium-low heat about 10 to 12 minutes.
Step 3: Turn off the heat and serve the steaks with mashed potato or white rice.

- 2 beef steaks (about 300 grams (10 1/2 ounces))
- Pepper (to taste)
- 50 grams (1 3/4 ounces) margarine
- 2 bay leaves
- 3 cloves of garlic
- Nutmeg (to taste)
- 100 ml (1/2 cup) white wine
- 50 ml (1/4 cup) olive oil
- Salt (to taste)
