INGREDIENTS FOR TUNA LEMON RICE
Here you'll find all the ingredients needed to make this recipe:
- Canned tuna - Drained canned tuna, flaked with a fork.

- Chopped onion, olive oil and minced garlic - Adds flavor and helps cook the peas.
- Lemon juice and lemon zest - Adds a very nice fresh flavor to the recipe.
- Green peas - Frozen green peas. Defrost the peas about 25 to 30 minutes before cooking them.
- Chicken broth - For cooking and to give an extra flavor to the rice.
- Salt - To season the rice.
Below you’ll find the correct measurement of all ingredients and the step-by-step guide for this recipe.

RECIPE TIPS
1. We usually use long-grain rice or medium-grain rice but you can use another type of rice. Long-grain rice is looser while medium-grain rice is creamier and absorb much more the flavors.
2. Always cook the rice with the pan covered and over low heat to prevent the rice from burning and sticking to the bottom of the pan.
3. Another thing we usually do is to cook the rice with chicken broth to give the rice even more flavor (if you cook the rice with chicken broth, reduce the amount of salt).
