Ground meat, potatoes and eggs on a plate

This recipe is a tasty and creamy variation of the famous and irresistible Salt cod, potatoes and eggs (Bacalhau à Brás). The only thing we did was replace the cod with ground pork and beef cooked with delicious seasonings!

It's one of those recipes that is very difficult to wait for it to finish cooking, the smell that goes through the kitchen and the creaminess of the recipe makes you want to take a bite before turning off the heat. I say this from personal experience.

It's a recipe that has an incredible mix of flavors and is ready in just 30 minutes! We make this recipe many times during the week when we don't have a lot of time to prepare a delicious dinner that is enough for us and our kids.

RECIPE TIPS

1. For a quicker recipe, we used a package of salted potato sticks. If you have a little more time, our suggestion is to make your own potatoes. Wash, peel the potatoes and cut into thin sticks. Fry the potatoes in vegetable oil and, once fried, transfer the potatoes to a paper towel-lined plate to drain the excess oil.

2. You can replace the ground meat and make this recipe with other ingredients that you like, such as tuna, cod, bacon or leek.

3. If you have any leftovers or want to save the recipe for another time, let it cool and store it in the refrigerator in an airtight container (to prevent the growth of microorganisms).
