HOW TO MAKE BAKED MEATBALLS
Step 1: In a bowl, season the meat with salt, breadcrumbs, chopped garlic, egg yolk, nutmeg and mustard. Mix the spices well in the meat.
Step 2: Preheat the oven to 180ºC (350ºF).
Step 3: Mold with your hands small portions of the meat in the shape of balls.
Step 4: On a baking dish, place the onions cut into round slices and the meatballs. Drizzle with olive oil and white wine and bake until golden, for about one hour.
Occasionally, drizzle the meatballs with the sauce.
Step 5: Turn off the oven and serve the meatballs with white rice or mashed potato.

- 250 grams (8 3/4 ounces) ground beef
- 250 grams (8 3/4 ounces) ground pork
- Nutmeg (to taste)
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 1 egg yolk
- 100 ml (1/2 cup) olive oil
- 2 medium onions
- 1/2 tablespoon breadcrumbs
- 1 teaspoon mustard
- 50 ml (1/4 cup) white wine
- Salt (to taste)
