Pasta with sausage in the oven

This is a different way to prepare sausages, add pasta and egg, drizzle with béchamel sauce and cream and sprinkle with grated cheese. Bake until golden and serve in a family lunch! Bon appetit!!!

Ingredients
- 300 grams (10 1/2 ounces) Frankfurter sausages (12 units)
- 250 grams (8 3/4 ounces) penne pasta
- 2 eggs
- 2 medium onions
- 200 ml (1/2 pint (236 ml)) whipping cream
- 50 ml / (3 1/3 tablespoons) olive oil
- Pepper (to taste)
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 125 grams (4 1/2 ounces) grated cheese
- Rosemary (to taste)
- Salt (to taste)
- For the béchamel sauce:
- 200 ml (about 1 cup) milk
- 2 tablespoons corn starch flour
- 1/2 tablespoon butter
- Pepper (to taste)
- Nutmeg (to taste)
- Salt (to taste)
- For the béchamel sauce:
- Place the butter in a saucepan and heat over low heat. When the butter start to melt, add the flour with a little milk and whisk until the flour is dissolved. Gradually add the rest of the milk, increase to medium heat and stir until a homogeneous and creamy mixture, about 10 minutes.
- Turn off the heat and season with a little salt, pepper and nutmeg. Mix the seasonings in the sauce and let cool. Béchamel sauce recipe.
- Cook the pasta in a saucepan with water seasoned with a peeled onion and a little salt. Cook the eggs in another saucepan. When the pasta and the eggs are cooked, Drain the pasta and peel the eggs; set aside.
- Meanwhile, place the olive oil, the chopped onion, chopped garlic and the sausages cut into slices in a saucepan, season with pepper and cook over low heat for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add the pasta, season with chopped rosemary and mix well.
- Preheat the oven to 180ºC (350ºF).
- In a bowl, combine the béchamel sauce and the cream; set aside.
- Place the pasta and the sausages on a baking dish and garnish with egg slices.
Drizzle with the béchamel and cream mixture and sprinkle with grated cheese.
Bake until golden brown, about 35 to 40 minutes.
- Turn off the oven and serve.
