HOW TO MAKE COD STEW WITH SHRIMP:
In a saucepan, add the sliced onion, the potatoes cut into pieces, the cod cut into pieces, the peeled tomato cut into chunks, chopped garlic, salt, pepper, paprika, white wine and olive oil. Stir gently with a wooden spoon, cover the pan with a lid and simmer for 1 hour. Add the shrimp and cook for more 10 minutes. Sprinkle with chopped parsley, turn off the heat and serve.

- 900 grams (2 pounds) desalted cod steaks
- 4 medium ripe tomatoes
- 1 large onion
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 900 grams (2 pounds) potatoes
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 350 grams (12 1/3 ounces) peeled shrimp
- 100 ml (1/2 cup) olive oil
- 100 ml (1/2 cup) white wine
- Parsley (to taste)
- 1 teaspoon salt
Directions
